Default Bump STOPS!

Well anyone that has been around the community for awhile will remember how some dealers were forgetting to remove bump stops!

I heard about it, but never witnessed it until today! I bought a rear and front subframe including diff etc pretty much the entire front and rear of the car. The car was flipped over into a ditch.

Anyways, the rear shocks still had the bump stops on them!

Photo proof! Crazy! No wonder he ended up in a ditch!

I can only imagine how stiff the ride would be. actually, maybe i know, my rsd's are pretty f'ing stiff.

and aren't they spring spacers instead of bump stops?

Do you think the previous owner could sue that dealership if he was able to prove that he wrecked because of the spring spacers?

I don't think those are called bump stops. Bump stops fit on the shaft of a shock. Those are spacers, no?
