First post ......now that's out of the way.....where can I find a front bumper protector for an 05 S......I had one on my 01 and can't for the life of me find one for the 05.....I know I need to keep the nose of the car off the curbs but they do tend to sneak up on me every once in a while .....

Coastal Metals sells the front bumper protector for the 2000-2003 S2000s. I emailed them awhile back asking if they were going to make one for the 2004-2005 S2000s and they never replied ...

Maybe you can email them and get a response on the 2004-2005s? ... They posted a thread awhile back saying they were working on one and it'd be ready soon, but I haven't heard nor seen anything since then.

 

I too have contacted Coastal Metals about a front bumper protector for the 2004-2005 and they not replied. Is this an indicator of their usual customer service?

 

Does anyone own the bumper protector offered by coastal metals? I have been interested in something for a long time like this--I'm just not so sure how it would look on my NFR. Is it visible from? If anyone could post some pics, that would be fantastic since the pics on coastal metal's site are small.

 

I was interested in Coast Metals front bumper protector aswell but I've read some bad reviews of it and the company. From what I've read it seems the company is very slow and doesn't respond to emails in a timely manner.

 

I emailed them (Coastal Metals) shortly after I bought the car.....no reply.....I had one of their protectors on my 01 S and it worked great....it took the abuse and didn't let the bumper get damaged at all.....thats why i am looking for one for the 05.....I tried to call them this morning and got a machine...I'll keep trying and let ya'll know what happens.......

Rickjames: I did have the coastal metals protector on my 01 and it was just barely visible from the front.....it only stuck out about 1/2 an inch from the bumper.....if you didn't know what to look for you'd never see it.......
