Default Burned The Clutch BaaaaaaD

I reved the car around 5K and like an ass....i slowly let go of the clutch instead of just dropping it. Instead of it grabbing I just burned it to hell. The RPMS went to 9K and I was moving about 5 miles an hour. Whats even worse is that I didnt step off the gas....i just kept it down until I started moving. AN hour later I still smelled the burning clutch. I know this is really bad but what do you guys think the repercussions are?

I let everything cool off and been driving around fine this evening without any problems. My head was in the clouds today....im so pissed off right now.

I think being how your car is fairly new, the clutch should be able to take a couple of these "indiscretions". However, there is always a chance that you may have glaced the clutch surfaces in which case, it may not ever grab the same way again. The smell could take a couple of days to go away. Just don't do it too often. You may have lucked out and your clutch is fine. I did this same thing to a VW years ago and that clutch worked for another 80,000 miles but then this clutch has to deal with a lot more revs and power.
