Thumbs up BURNOUTS

I was just wondering what most peoples burnout revs are in first gear?
As well best launch rev off the line in a quarter mile race?

You want to make sure you break the wheels free otherwise you will be destroying your differential. A good dump comes from somewhere around 5k to 6k, then once your tires are spinning you modulate the gas medal until your tires bite and then you go from there. Launches can really mess up your diff though, so be careful.

Fyi doing a burnout with street tires actually makes the tires greasier thus making it harder to launch. A quick tire spin in front of the waterbox to get rid of debris on your rear tires is all that is needed.

best way to burnout, get in your car, turn it on, go for a drive, trade it in for a mustang gt, get in it, and drop the clutch while at redline!

I have NEVER launched or burned out in my car; simpily because I've heard too many horror stories about people destroying their diff.

I have sidestepped from 6k all the way to 8k. Depends how much wheel spin you want.

This is however not for burnouts rather launching at the track.

For a burnout once you break them free you can use whatever RPM you want just as long as you keep em spinning
