Default Busted!

Did 90mph in a 50mph zone according to the cops. Cops cited me for "90 in a 50" and "Racing". Threatened jailtime and all that until I mentioned that I used to work in the jail clinic for my obstetrics/gynecology rotation. Any advice or experience with this?

How did they determine that you were "racing?"

The most effective way to prevent getting a ticket for doing 90 in a 50 is not to do 90 in a 50.

Has slowing down crossed your mind? That would be my first course or action, but then again, I live in the edge.

That's been my experience...

Nice handle btw..original thinking. I guess when you enter residency you will change it to Doctor-in-training.

As to your ticket..I suggest you suck it up like a man. Some lessons are best learned the hard way.

Naw, "resident" will suffice.

I had a cop jump the median to chase me down this week end....beat that. My brother got a 95 in a 55 a while back. He paid the ticket ($160). And then took driving school. Insurance didn't go up.

He was ticketed for racing because I was right next to him and got ticketed also. This happened during our GTG. For both Medicalstudent and I, it was our first time out to a GTG and I guess we took it a little too far.
