So, i have a button on the bottom part of my dash, under the steering wheel.' It's at about the same height as the trunk release but on the plastic cover that completes the dash under the steering wheel. I seems to be connected to the wireing harness, but the manual speaks nothing of if. Ideas?

 

It could be the valet switch OEM alarm. If memory serves that's about where it would be. It would not be mentioned in the manual. You can find info for it at H and A accessories. If think they have the .PDF posted somewhere on their site. Just browse like your shopping for one and you'll find the .PDF.
