True, but wheels are a safety item. If you are getting 4 for $600, dealer markup as a rule is 100%. That means $300 to the manufacturer, which has another 100% markup (again general rule). So the cost of manufacture is $150 or $37.50 per wheel. I, for one, will gladly spend the extra cash to know I'm getting a high quality product that won't disintegrate hitting a bump at 70mph.
