Which to buy? HELP
Howdy yall,
My name's Andrew, I introduced myself a few days ago in the new members area. If you would please take a moment to check out what I said that would help a lot for my next question.
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/111...#entry23531265
So my question now is which out of the links below is the best car for me, taking into consideration I'll only have (if I'm lucky) around 15K to work with? I live in Northwest Houston, but because I'm a college student I'm currently in College Station, Texas (Gig 'Em, Aggies!) but am willing to drive to most places within reason to find my car.
Here are the contenders as of now:
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/4893005585.html
^^^Looks clean in the pictures, seems to have a lot of paperwork, not a fan of the stock wheels or solid black interior (which can both change later, but you know...$$$)
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=393558564
^^^Most expensive, but is in my favorite color combination and year, and has a good deal of upgrades and a carbon fiber hard top. Also has relatively low miles. Don't know if I could talk down price though.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/4896922529.html
^^^Absolutly love the GPW and tan interior, but the high mileage scares me. I can probably negotiate the price down because I'd be driving out to Dallas, and it has high mileage. What do yall have to say about 150XXX plus mile cars?
Thanks so much for the help, guys and gals!

Definitely the first one in stock form.
The second one reeks of having been in an accident in the past. Missing side emblems. Lack of photos in general. Contact the buyer and ask him/her if all ten VIN stickers are in place. I highly doubt it.
The third one I wouldn't even remotely consider. Lowered. Hubcentric spacers. Stretched tires. Too many mods for my taste that take away from how it handled from the factory. At least you can tell from the photos that the rear end has never had any damage. Ask for photos of the front end VIN stickers if that one really appeals to you.
