Default Buyer's remorse?

For many of us there is that ONE color that you just absolutely love but while shopping for a car you don't always have a lot of options especially if buying used.

So if you bought a S2000 that wasn't in your first choice of color, did you regret buying it?

Did you eventually find one in your color and said "dang I should have waited"?

Always wanted a GPW but BB being my second choice and getting a great deal on it, I popped on the purchase. Kinda wish I waited for a GPW CR. Car still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it so that's what really counts I suppose.

Bought mine from a dealer that had a Berlina black, suzuka blue, and silverstone. Would have preferred the black or blue as I'm not a fan of silver, but the silver had the black/red interior. I was sold instantly.

In a perfect world, I'd probably prefer gpw blk/red.

I like nfr, and yellow too but don't think I'd be as happy with interior options.

[edit] but I also can't imagine ever willingly trading mine in, even for another. This is my car. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

There's no perfect car esp buying used but i bought silver and i really couldnt stand to look at it. sold it cause it didnt have that appeal where i would turn back and look at it walking away from the car. got black, very happy.

I never saw an S2000 that I didn't like, I think they look great in all colours. While there may be better colours out there compared to mine, I still love my car.

Depends how big u are one colors. My color choices in this order:

1. GPW
2. Rio Yellow
3. Silverstone

My car is one and off for sale because Im not a fan of how common Silverstone is. Every time someone wants to buy it, I get cold feet.

I bought my 2003 in 2008 when S2k prices were cheap, sorta like Real Estate at that time. Im not trying to throw $7k or $8k on a 2006+ S2k just because of color.

Here is my Boo:

Nope. My first love when I purchased six years ago was Suzuka blue. However, I like silver as well and found an excellent condition Sebring Silver/Black example with low miles. I purchased in 2008 when prices were pretty good as well. Still happy with the car and I have now owned it longer than any other car I've owned for my use.

Originally wanted black, but disliked it when I saw it in person. The black hides too much of the S2000's curvy lines. Ended up with the common Silverstone and I'm kind of glad I did although I'm not too picky.

I love my silverstone, but looking back I wish I waited a bit for any color that has a red or black/red interior, exterior not mattering.
