Default Buying a 05 boxster vs 04 s2000

im interesting in knowing if anyone here considered the 05 boxster before they bought the 04 s2k. Im talking about base boxster vs s2k since the price is the same in the used market.

i love the s2000 but concerned about the lack of torque and the bland interior lacking navigation.

Also, which is more fun to drive ? why did you decide to get the s2k instead of the boxster? which is faster? which has better handling?

Im planning to do rims and exhaust and possibly a few bolts on mods, which is cheaper to mod?

but if i do decide to turbo it, how much does it cost? does it need an entire engine rebuild?

thanks in advance

Buying a used Porsche is a great way to be on a first name basis with the service writer at your local "We fix Porsches" shop... owned three German cars (ok four, counting my old VW van... which was an exception to the rule)... while they were great, fun cars to drive they were maintenance money pits.... I'd put my nickle on the Honda and never look back.

S2000 owns a base boxster;things equal out a bit with the boxster S

IMHO pass on the boxster unless you think the "P" crest on the front of the car means something special to you

S2000 does everything the Boxster does for less money imo.

If you care for luxury, get the boxster.
If you care about having a sports car, get the S.

Both are great choices, but as a generality this is the best advice I can offer.
