I lucked out. Another buyer had offered $16,500 and put down a $500 deposit. He didn't call back on Monday so he released the car to me at $15,000. The guy called on Tuesday and wanted it but he told him he had already promised it to me. So the guy was very nice in honoring our deal and taking a $1,500 loss.
