I've only seen two S2K's in person that had Mugen exhaust and I don't remember if they were AP1's or AP2's. I do know that the Mugen exhaust for an AP1 looks stock, and that's part of the reason that I didn't get it.

 

Plus, the HKS dual looks extremely sharp, IMO, that's why I have one.

 

here's their sound clips but I cant find one w/ our car. I love how the concept G blue too bad they don't make the incinal tips for the regular one.

 

i'm running the HKS/testpipe, best sounding exhaust imo...

i just got my tanabe medalion installed. not too loud. the sound level is perfect. I think it looks nice with the ap2 bumper

 

The T1R Sparrow is a very nice exhaust. I'd also consider the Greddy, but it's so new that not many people have heard it in person. Of course you can't go wrong with the HKS...

 

My vote would go to Mugen or T1R Sparrow 63mm if you don't want too much sound.

 

I always loved the sound of the HKS, but never liked the looks of it... just my $.02.. and the Mugen definitely does not look stock..

I have the Comptech and love the sound of it.. but I'm going back to stock for a little while..... I'm looking at possibly getting the Mugen or the T1R..
