I'm thinking of buying a hardtop for my '00 s2k and have seen a 2nd hand one from a '02 model. I asked the person selling it if it came with the fitting kit (I heard somewhere you need to buy this) and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about.
Would this hardtop be a straight fit onto my car?

Meant to mention - mine is a UK spec, does this make a difference?
Vin lower than 5730 - do you mean the last 4 digits?
Thanks

you'll also want to take a look at the installation manual before you decide whether or not to take on the task yourself.

there are some random things that you'll need like a center punch, 3m weatherstrip adhesive etc. only part that seemed really uncomfortable to me was using the center punch to bend a corner gausset.
good luck!
