i am new to this site and am currently looking to buy a s2000. i found a guy in a nearby town selling one for 15500 it is a 2001 silver with black interior in perfect running and he paint is still good condition. the car has almost 60k miles on it. i got him to lower the price to 12k is this a good deal?? the kbb value is about 12.5k what do u think

 

Sounds like a fair deal to me so long as the car is in good shape, no major dents, rusting or other damage.

60K miles is not that high for a 2001. I can sell my 2001 prelude for $11K and it has 75K miles...S2000's should go for more. $12K could be a steal if the car is sound.

 

Maybe go for 10.5k or 11k? Usually KBB is a rip-off price that you want to beat.

 

or i am looking at a 2000 with 54k on it in great condition with a voodooo countersink knob on there and a set of OEM AP@V@'s. i dont know what the knob is but i could get this one for 12.5 is this better than the 2001 for 12????
