im checking out two s2000 to buy tomoorrow. they are both black and 2001. im expecting to pay about 21500 for the car and they both ahve 30K miles. is that a good price? also what should i look for in buying a used s2000? weird idling, clutch pedal feel, notchiness of the gears? or weird noises? any things i should esp look for? thank you all for your help. hopefully on saturday night, ill be a s2000 owner too! cant wait. both of the cars are all stock and second owner cars. they are both cleartitles also. anykind of information you guys can provide me will help me. once again thank you all for your help

Hey what's up? im also looking at a used s2k at the moment......$21k for '01 w/ less than 30k miles? sounds like decent deals..... i've got an '01 lined up for around $23k w/ 39k miles, but that's a 1 owner car from a honda dealer and is "certified used". is this through a dealer or is it through private sale? i'd be careful about private sales....bring a friend/mechanic who knows s2k's, just to be safe.

 

i bought a 01 w/ 42K about a month ago from a dealer. $22K, but it came with the lip, spoiler, and strakes, which cost over $1K.

 

feel for a 2nd gear grind, listen ffor a clutch buzz.....clicking from the rear is not a big deal it i s abolt that needs to be tightned so if either has this dont think the rear end is goin bad1

 

Speaking from experience, it's MUCH quicker using the search function than waiting for people to read your post and formulate a response. Just a heads up.
