bye bye boxster, hello S2000
well, first off i have been lookin through these forums for about 2 years and lovin the s. But for some reason i decided out of the blue to get a boxster because i could get a good deal on one. Well, i loved the boxster (it was a 02), but of course i was still obsessed with the s2000. Well, i made a trip to the dealership and they had my color (berlina). Long story short i got the car 2 days ago and i love it a thousand times more then i liked my boxster. Well i think ill go for a drive, so far i got 400 miles on the car

I'm doing the same thing. I've had 3 Porsches, but I'm switching too. I was looking at a new Boxster S when it hit me that I wanted to change, so I went on a test drivein an S2000 - - Glad I did!! Just hadn't bought yet. Going to compare '03 and '04, maybe by then I will have decided between black or white. Have fun!!

So what sold you on the S2000?
I test drove a 2.7 Boxster a few months ago, and while it was a great package, I felt the Honda just packs more excitement for a whole lot less money.
By the way, as I recall, Boxster break-in involves not revving over 4,250 rpm for 2,000 miles...that's just cruel!
Check your oil often and have a blast.
