Sold my Grand Cherokee and traded the Honda S2000 in 2 days later..... I needed something more practical than the S2K as an every day driver, so I traded it in on a new 2002 Isuzu Rodeo LS 4WD. MSRP on the Rodeo was $29,450, and after hours of haggling I got the Rodeo and a check from the dealership for $3,500 also... I only had 6,100 miles on my S2K, and it looked as clean as the day it was originally delivered....and from the ooh's and ahh's it received, I believe they noticed too! I liked my Grand Prix White Honda so well, that I decided on the Alpine White Isuzu Rodeo.....and it's about as bright as the S2K was. It was sad to say goodbye to my baby, but the $$$ were too right to say no.....

sorry to see you leave. bummer about the insurance though. some carriers will not allow the seasonal coverage but will allow for you to chaneg the poliucy to liability only for the period you dont actually drive tha car, so for you folks in the snow bound states, that can help. good luck with the Rodeo though. at least it will be a 4 season vehicle.

Geez. . .a Rodeo? There are such nicer SUV's out in the market right now.

I used to own a '00 Honda Passport EX 4WD that had nothing but problems. After 5 months, Honda bought it back from me and I purchased a '00 Accord Coupe EX-VL. The driveshaft was creating an unberable shake and the steering wheel was constantly vibrating. Very frustrating. But that's all done now.

Best of luck. . .enjoy!

Wow! I myself considered trading-in my S2k after a few months because I needed something more practical to carry stuff. However, I quickly realized that there was nothing in the market that stirred my soul like the S2k did (in the same price range that is ) I have a beater 84 civic that I drive when it is pourring rain and when I need to go to some part of town where I don't feel the S would be safe.
Anyway, good luck with your new ride.
