C&D Ten Best
Folks,
It was a great three year run, but the latest issue of Car and Driver sadly omits our favorite roadster from the Top Ten list.
No matter -- long live the Honda S2000! It will always be in my top ten list.
Here is the new lineup:
Acura RSX
BMW 3-Series/M3
Chevrolet Corvette
Ford Focus
Honda Accord
Infiniti G35
Mazda 6 s
Nissan 350Z
Porsche Boxster
Subaru WRX
The good news is this is an impressive list of cars! Many excellent choices for enthusiasts...

C&D had to rewrite their rules about the number of winners per year ( it used to be unlimited). One auto company wouldn't play fair and kept building great cars every year, so the new limit was set to 2 cars per year from 1 company. Way to go Honda
This last year Honda actually had 3 of the 10 winners ! Two were badged Honda and one Acura ! The Accord, S2000, and RSX.

I'd put the S2000 above:
the Focus (out of its league on the list. proof that advertising money talks)
the WRX
the Boxster (even with the S but for value)
The Mazda 6 s
and the RSX (interesting Acura but not up to S2000 innovation--not even double wishbone suspension)
This list is a balance of quality, value, range and what's new. I think they worked hard to include GM and Ford in the list, as well as different configurations.
The Honda Civic Hybrid deserves its own spot on the list for innovation plus quality. The Accord deserves TWO spots; one reserved just for the 6 speed v6 coupe, one for all the other Accords.
