Default Cable throttle vs. DBW in the S2000

I have an 08' Si and hate the DBW with a passion. It's laggy and jerky as hell, especially when it's cold. I plan on getting an S within 2 years or less and am doing extensive research on the car.

I want the 04' because it's an AP2 and doesn't have the DBW and if I can't find one with low enough miles then I'll be forced to get a newer one and was wondering if the DBW is a problem in it.

Is there a noticeable different between the two? Is there any advantage to having the DBW? Any thoughts, comments, info, etc. on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Seems the DBW on the S2k is quite competent.
