So the AEM V2 is a good one. Ok cool. I've put that one on another S, so thats cool. I work at a local tuning shop and a guy I know has that system. Its pretty easy to install. Cool

I have always used K&N on my other cars (Jeep, Blazer, Impala SS) So I decided to check out their kit for the S and it is great, easy to install and works well. It is available as a FIPK, a short CAI or a full CAI. Also they have a coating the closely matches the stock red on the valve cover.

Well yes and no, you wont "feel" a difference in the power but my gas mileage did go up and it is the only mod I have made so far.

According to K&N it will produce more power... all results provided by a dyno run

FIPK 9.55hp@6500

Typhoon SR 7.8hp@6500

Typhoon CA 6.7hp@6500

Typhoon CCA 6.7@6500 (this is the one available in wrinkle red finish, http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...rod=69-1040TWR )
