Hi,

i installed a Comptech CAI last week. The installation went smooth and the check engine light didnt come up.
But i noticed that sometimes the VTec didn't start, the engine goes up to approx. 6000 and than stops.

Especially the 6th gear seems doesn't go higher than 6K rpm.

I didn't reset the ECU yet.

Did you warm it up and wait for 3 bars on the temp gauge before pushing it?

 

Yes, the car was completly warm up and showed 3 bars.

 

Is it also possible, that i used too much oil on the foam filter?
I used the complete spray which was included in the comptech package.
