Were I an S2000 owner, I'd save up for the Mugen. Just because they're the best.

Otherwise, afraid I can't offer much advice. AEM is really popular, but if the Honda versions are ricey, that could perhaps not be your thing. I'm deciding on a CAI for my Impreza, too...
lots of choices for us as well. AEM is one of them. Cobb Tuning is the best for us, but the price difference is about equal to comparing the Honda choices to Mugen. Whereas Mugen = Cobb. VERY expensive.

PDM Racing makes one I like. $50 and it uses the stock airbox to plug into, which has a drain hole in case of water suck. A little added comfort, I guess!

A piece of bent anodised Aluminium pipe, some fasteners and an air filter. Sounds simplistic but this is the guts of a CAI right? Surely it shouldn't be too expensive to manufacture once through the R&D stage. Hmmm...

That is my car in that pic..it works..i have the dyno pulls to prove it. Even though it looks like a hot air intake, it works, makes 7 WHP with the hood closed...my car feels more responsive and the sound is outstanding...sorry for all you haters out there, but i am currently doing real world testing, for the past 14 days i have been driving my S in the city and highway, just like a daily driver with this intake system and i haven't noticed any loss of power, in fact i have noticed a noticeable gain in top speed and acceleration. Sometimes people can be closed minded about certain things, but i gave K&N a chance and they have not disappointed me....too bad the rest of you are all sheep and run to the "Mugen" and "Spoon" and are prepared to pay the inflated prices for basically the same thing... I wish you all the best....

What STB is that motorhead? I'm planning to get the Spoon STB, but I think it's a tight fit. Did you get it used for $179?

P.S. Looks like AEM is winning in the poll.
