Im going to do some minor mods and im sure these topics have been beaten to death. Anyways how much horsepower can I expect to gain at the crank and at wheels with a CAI (Comptech, AEM, or Injen) + Apex'i VAFC???? Noticable gains??? And will I gain power at teh high end or low??? Many Thanks

 

I've heard of one that made 12-14 more hp than stock at certain RPMs with just a VAFC. I wouldn't expect much more from adding a CAI, but I could be wrong.

 

Expect 10-20 whp with the two...the large range is due mainly to the VAFC, since the CAI has been shown to give a fairly reliable 5-7 whp. The majority of this is throughout the midrange, especially after VTEC, with a smaller gain up top.
