Caliper Covers
Why not just paint them. It is easy, inexpensive, And they look good to me.

I agree yours look good, but have you seen Greg's after 1 day at the track? Thats what scares me. I dont want to have to deal with that.
How many miles have you put on your car since painting yours? Any newer pics?

SKS Fan,
Not much time invested. One evening's work and you are done.

what about powdercoating the calipers?
I've heard of that being done and supposedly more durable. If you drive on the track, the paint is really a waste. I haven't tracked the S2000, but a few cars back, I had a Sentra SE-R that I tracked (both on track and off, hehe)
The paint would burn off pretty quickly, which served as a good way to perfect your technique, and eventually change colors

OK, the problem with caliper paint, FoliaTec or whatever brand is that if, as it did in my case after one track day, it burns you have to REMIX that crap then slather it all over the damn calipers again! SCREW THAT! And a remix means that you have to buy another kit!
Yes, it's a sore spot!
My paint scorched and I had to use about 5 different solvents and chemicals to strip it all off...
...which took about 3 messy and long days! I took them completely off the car, mounting brackets and all, over the winter and had them at home for a week, while I played doctor on them...
I was able to get 98.5% of the red paint off. Masked the important areas (piston boots, etc) off and then sprayed painted two entire cans of black Krylon hi-temp 1200 degree paint on them. I've been to the track once since then, I think, and it looks fine. I don't need shiny, I just didn't want sorta red and sorta metallic!
I like the clean look of painted or finished (powdercoating or other process), but it's a pain the ass!
Chris (cdelena) did some kind of process that I saw in Asheville, which looked great...of course, now I don't remember how he did it.
For me, they are going to stay the way they are and if I need to touch them up, I mask off the areas for overspray and use the Krylon paint on them again...very simple.

Caliper covers? Never even heard of them...but could cause heat dissipation troubles.
