Caliper Decals for s2000
Custom "S2000" Caliper Decals font:sofachrome (Silver)
It has a slight italicized look to it - Seemed really nice in silver. I later noticed a picture here somewhere - Yellow paint with silver decals. I will try to post the link.
cheers!!

I certainly will - Not sure If am eligible to post pics - But, I am sure there is always a way in this wonderful and friendly forum
BTW, I am so excited I can't seeem to think of anything else:
Here's my plan of action:
I do not have jack stands and I am not buying them either. I plan to do a "wheel and a half" at any given time.
Start with jacking up and removing wheel 1, finish up with cleaning the calipers and paint coat #1.
now move to wheel # 2 - diagonally opposite to Wheel # 1 for stability reasons, undo wheel (15 minutes elapsed already)
Coat # 2 for wheel # 1.
Clean and do first coat for wheel # 2
Coat # 3 for wheel # 1
do coat # 2 for wheel # 2 and wait to achieve 15 minutes of dry time on wheel # 1 if I have to.
Do coat # 4 and proceed to wheel # 2 for coat # 3.
After 30 minuts of dry time on wheel # 1, apply decals, do a clear coat if it comes with package, if not use Zaino clear seal that I have and just mount the wheels!
I am not waiting a full two hours at this point - If I need to redo the coat in 3 years, I will worry about it then.
Meantime, Wheel # 2 should be (almost) done and I would also have moved on to wheel # 3 from wheel # 1.
Just one hitch: I can't freaking seem to get the wheel nuts loose - They are soooo tight !@@#$%
I guess I am not as tough after all
I am going to call in on some old favors and lots of goodwill
from my big built, muscle bound neighbors.
Cheers!!

Thanks, Matt - Great info! I was thinking of using my shutterfly account but hey, I will open one and keep it exclusive for my S2K.
BTW, After standing up on the spanner and jumping up and down for a minute, I was able to get the bolt loose one after another. So, that is set too. Now, I just gotta wait for the w/e.
BTW, How do we align the calipers to be at the same spot? Anyone know if it involves removing the calipers? Will it affect the brakes in any way?
Any info would help!
Cheers!!

Im doing it with the calipers on the car. However, my question is what are you going to use to sand down the calipers. I was going to get a few sanding bits for a dremmel and needed to know which ones.

I don't have a dremel - I wass just thinking of sand paper? Is it too inadequate?
By the way, I received my VINZ decals - I seriously doubt if the adhesive is good enough - I am thinking a thin layer of Gorilla Glue behind the lettering so it stays concealed.
Not to go off topic: I also received my voodoo shift knob yesterday - Best $45.60 I ever spent, besides buying the S2k
Cheers!!
