Default Calipers cleaning- Painting?

Hey guys My calipers are nasty dirty, been wanting to get them clean (did a search and results are too old with no pics) what shold i use? OEM calipers on OEM wheels?

Then.. i've been thinking on Getting them painted i have a suzuka blue AP2 on OEM wheels what color you think would look good? (don't want the rice look either) thanks so much for your help IA.

looks real good man, but would red look good on suzuka blue??? that i wonder...

If i had a suzuka I would go with a dark blue, gunmetal or black. I plan on doing mine red tho (silverstone w/red/black interior)

gabster- you can just clean them up with some brakekleen, or clean them and then paint them...

i did mine silver just for the subtle/clean look-







gomarlins3- what brakes are those? where did you get them?

Go with silver if you want to repaint later its easy.

All i did was scrubbed mine down real good with brake cleaner and then washed them with soap and water.

Let dry, and hit them with a can of high temp sray on that cost about $4. They look just like wanabe's, over 2 months and they still look perfect, we even have the same wheels. Great minds must think a like.

On Suzuka, I would agree with silver or black.

this is "anthracite" or dark gray as you say. BTW this is powder coated, not painted.
