Call to Attend Consumer Survey
I received a call afternoon to attend a S2000 Consumer Survey today. It was being done by a market research firm and involved answering quesitons and giving opinions. The participants were to be compensated.
The problem was that it was being done in Stamford, Ct. and was too far for me to travel to on a work day.
Did anyone else get invited?

PokS2K,
I understand your enthusiasm for an event like this one, but don't get your hopes up.
I attended the same type of event North of Los Angeles about a year ago. I was expecting to see some prototype cars from a major US manufacturer and give input as to what I liked and disliked about them vs the S2000.
What I got was about 400 questions relating to sound, handling, speed, etc. as we did a ride and drive of a Z3, Boxster, and S2000. They also wanted comments on the SLK hardtop mechanism.
It took over three hours, and I was bored to tiers after the first ten minutes. As a matter of fact, I was just offered $200 to do the same event because of my Acura MDX purchase, ten miles from my home and I didn't even reply.
I am sure you would get some satisfaction out of one of these events, I just wanted to save you from my curse of going in with very high expectations and being disappointed.

I actutally received a market survey about my s2000 and the buying experience etc. They gave me $1 in cash so I figured I'd do it. It turned out to be long and annoying, but hey, its $1
