No clutch problems or any mechanical issues so far with 6K miles on the car.

Before replacing the stock clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate with aftermarket pieces: No. After: Yes.

I have the clutch/vibe during decel. It's a little annoying like the exhaust drone during decel on my last car.

When in gears 2-6 and decelerating or just very slightly applying gas between the RPM range of 3-4k, you will hear this buzz/rattle sound, almost like a loose heatshield.

In second gear it'll do it down to 2k and 3rd sounds rough down to 1k.

p.s. I don't launch.

isn't this normal for S2000's??? normal as in
"it is an 'attribute' of some S2000's out there, and it will not be fixed"
ala "1-2 grind when cold"

It's not a grind when cold, you're thinking of the shifting grind between first and second gears and has to do with the gear box.

This is a different issue.

thats total that the dealer said 'this is what the car is supposed to sound like.' I'd be sooooo pissed if i was you, because that service advisor basically just called you a newbie and an idiot.

U need to get the name of the service advisor that said that and speak with the service dept. manager, and chew the shit outta them for making that remark to you.
