cam shaft install help-will pay
I have a Brian crower built engine in my MY2000 S2000. The car currently has vtec killer cams. I purchased ap1 stock cams this week.
I would like not to tow my car again, so I'm hoping someone will come to my house to help with install. I'm not sure what the going rate would be, so ill offer $120 for the job. From what I understand, its not too complicated. Pm if interested or let me know if my price is unreasonable. I'm located in San dimas, 20 miles east of Pasadena/Glendale area of so.Cal, near raging waters.
Thanks.

Your price is reasonable. It isn't too difficult in my opinion. I had to pop my cams off when I did the retainer swap. Have you looked at the procedure in the service manual? You might be able to tackle it yourself. I can help you next weekend if no one else does. I think I will be driving by that area on my way to southern california.
Sorry. Didn't see this response when I pm'd you, I have a similar thread in the so. Cal forum. Thanks for the offer! I was accosted by some moron in my other thread who told me he would charge double what shops were quoating me. Too bad I didn't see this earlier, I set and appointment with Ballade motorsport that I'm going to honor even though others have offered better prices. Thanks for the offer though!!
