just wanting to get some opinions on how effective it is to make power by upgrading cams.. gude has a set of cams for the s2k but it doesnt say much about them, i'm guessing they are stage 1.. what kinda experience and power gains do you guys have with cams and what do u know about gude as a brand and their products?

I was curious about this either...I have a hard time believing that no one has mde more aggressive cam profiles for this car. That's a pretty basic modification point on most piston motors.

I believe there are a few manufacturers that have made cams for our cars. However from what I have gathered they don't seem to gain any power, possibly even lose some and don't seem to be reliable. I would look at something else as well.

what everyone is saying is that cams are a lot of work to install and for very little is any gains in most cases.
The money could be spent else where for greater gains.

Ok...lets see some dyno results. And not ones from their web site.

Speaking from personal experience dont waste your time or money on cams.
