Can this dent be removed?
The thing is that this AP1 I picked up is so close to perfection that I might as well just make it perfect. I've owned my AP2 since day one and have managed to keep the car dent free up until now so I'm quite confident that I'll be able to do the same with the AP1.
I used one of those silly "Ding King" dent pullers and no shit, it worked. Not in one pull as Billy Mays would lead you to believe but I did a number of tries and eventually the dent was just about gone. Be careful though, if the glue sticks too well, you will pull the spot above the level of the surrounding area.
the front fenders are VERY thin lite weight so this is good and bad
remove the plastic liner, the clips are expensive to replace and damage easy, save as many as you can. from the back GENTLY smooth back the dent with your hand. it may not return to its original shape, the bad.
replace the fender for ~$250.
i would use some toothpaste to remove any scratches and call it good. use the money elsewhere.
