Can I get better stook stuff in Japan?
My wife is Japanese, so I asked my in-laws if they could send me a catalog from Japan. They sent me a Mugen catalog and the prices weren't much different from the prices that King Motorsports quotes. Granted, the Mugen header is listed as 128,000 Yen (which converts to $1024 at the current exchange rate), but this price was established quite awhile back, before the Yen took a dive in value, and if you factor in the shipping and duties, well, you haven't saved anything. Of course, there may be discount shops out there that I don't know about, but you probably won't either... The J's racing N1 exhaust is listing for 79,000 Yen in HyperRev (roughly $632) and I'm getting it for $830 stateside. After duties and shipping (which is very expensive from Japan) I'm not sure how much I could save. If it's smaller items, like a computer ECU or a Toda flywheel or something that you could carry with you, it might be more worth it.

Just did a google search for "Hyperev". It seems there is a Hyperev.zip Hypertext Bible study of Revelation online. I don't think this is the one you're talking about, but I'll keep reading it. There's gotta be some car parts in here somewhere...

BTW, my trip will be in October or November. I'll be taking plenty of pics... And if something is cheap, small, and way too cool buy just one, I'm sure s2ki members would want them. (shrooms not included).
Also, from the pics I've seen, the clear corners seem to be standard in Japan. This has probably been asked before, but do I need to buy the entire housing, or can the plastic piece be sold as a separate part?
