i dont know that much about the technical side of cars and i know i need an oil/differential fluid change at the minimum but im sure theres other shit. the reason im asking is i dont think i want to bring it into the honda dealership and i need to know what i need to do.

 

As specified in my MY00 Owner's Manual:

Normal Conditions Maintenance Schedule for 15K:
Replace engine oil.
Check tire inflation and condition.
Replace engine oil filter.
Inspect front and rear brakes.
Check parking brake adjustment.
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box and boots.
Inspect suspension components.
Inspect driveshaft boots.
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Check all fluid levels, conditions of fluids, and check for leaks.
Inspect cooling system hoses and connections.
Inspect exhaust system.
Inspect fuel lines and connections.


Severe Conditions Maintenance Schedule for 15K:
Replace engine oil and filter.
Inspect front and rear brakes.
Check tire inflation and condition.
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box and boots.
Inspect suspension components.
Inspect driveshaft boots.
Replace air cleaner element
Check parking brake adjustment.
Lubricate all hinges, locks, and latches.
Replace rear differential fluid.
Inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Check all fluid levels, conditions of fluids, and check for leaks.
Inspect cooling system hoses and connections.
Inspect exhaust system.
Inspect fuel lines and connections.
Check all lights and controls.
Inspect the underbody.
