Default can i get a new soft top?

so, i have 4k miles to 30k and about 6 months until my 3 year 30k mile warranty expires.

i have a tear forming in my soft top. so far its 1 cm long. do you think i can get it replaced by a dealer under warranty?

or should i expect a lot of resistance? the tear is kinda minor but it's there.

Its definitely worth a try....try different dealerships too because some are more willing to do it than others.

I have never read of anyone being denied in the long run. Some dealers are more difficult to deal with than others but in the end they change the top under warranty. BTW new car warranty is 36mos not 30 and due to a class action suit its now 37.5. GL

If the tear in the soft top is forming as a result of the soft top frame than maybe.

Most likely your not going to get this replaced. Its like saying theirs blemishes in your paint, can you repaint my car under warranty. Its not going to happen.
