First let me say that this isn't for an S2000. I apologize for posting here. I felt that more people read this board than others. Here is my situation. My girlfriend bought a '98 Mistubishi Eclipse in April. The dealer "assured" us that there were no problems with the car and that he would back that with his 30 reputation (what that is now I am not sure). Since then the car has had to have the top replaced because they tried to fix it 3 times(they said each time that "its fixed"). Now when my gf drives faster than 55 the engine revs really high and today she said it redlined. So if someone with an open account could help I would like to see what has been going on with this car. I know...we should have done this before but it was a mistake that i'll never do again. Thank You Very Much. That helps a lot. 4 owners are more than I thought. I guess the problems are just regular wear and tear over the years. They just should have been addressed before the car was sold. My poor girl got showered on a few times while driving home in the rain.
