can u put an nsx engine in an s2000 ?
It amuses me that the people most likely to ask this question post it when they are still at 0 days on their account. I think they sign up just to ask the question, even though they'll most likely never actually buy an S2000, and if they did, would never get around to doing the modification.

Two options for you
1) Buy an NSX if you want an NSX motor.
2) Buy an S2000 and supercharge it. It will be about as fast as an NSX at this point.
Oh, and if you have an S2000 please enter your VIN number to change your status from enthusiast to "Owner"

You can do anything to any car for the right price, but if i saw an S2000 with an NSX motor I'd probably laugh at the futility of the effort.
Anyways, don't think you can come on this board and start throwing around insults. At the same time, McGyver, I think you might have been slightly out of line(some things, however annoying, are best left alone). I'd like to think that most S2000 owners are discerning, intelligent, courteous, educated and in general are a step above the typical "ricer" Civic drivers.
Do a search, you'll find hundreds of detailed posts that explain at length why this is a bad idea-from the prohibitive cost to the destruction of driving dynamics, practicality, etc. An NSX is an NSX, an S2000 is an S2000, and both are just fine the way they are without any frankensteining between them.

Hey, no point in ripping the kid. He asked a question. Dont like it, dont answer. Its that simple. It may be a dumb question, but whats the point in ripping him for it? Its definately not a good way to attract potential new members to the board.
Too many people on this board think they are gods gift to the s2000 and get way to judgemental.
Ok, Flame on.

Btw, to answer your question. You could do it, but its a waste of time & $$$. The f20c is just perfect fo this car.

riceburner4life just caused me to hit the "Ignore" button again. Of course, you can put just about any engine in any car, with enough talent and money. But for the price, why would you?
