Default Can U Unlock Passenger Door Electrically From Int.

I've only had the car a few weeks, was wondering if you can unlock the passenger door electrically from the interior of the car ?, or is the only way to do it by reaching over and doing it physcially ?. I'm not totally lazy but I find it awkward having to reach over the console to reach the passenger door lock mechanism once my fat ass is planted in the driver seat. thanks for any replies.

Yes, I believe there is a DIY to make it so when you flip open the switch it unlocks the whole car, just like when you flip it into the door it locks both side.

the reason I found it strange is that you can lock both doors from the driver side but not unlock it. Thanks for the replies I'll search the DIY and see if it shows up. many thanks.

the worst part is the vehicle remote control doesn't work when the key is in the ignition, so you can't use it while the car is running.

Just found a link that may help you use the remote while the car is running, could help with the trunk and the door locks.

Still beats extending over and doing things manually , he, he, he.

Hmmmm. If you are *that* lazy to lean over and flip the door lock, then why not stop the car, pull out the key, hit the unlock button twice? Or is this even more onerous than leaning over by about 10 degrees?!!!
