I ran a whole tank of gas in my Integra without VTEC, and I actually got WORSE gas mileage than usual.

Go figure

Probably could do it, but I don't have anything to prove to myself

Sure I can...I can quit VTECing anytime I want to. But why would I want to? It's not really a problem...I'm only a social VTECer. I mean what's wrong with an occasional VTEC with friends? It's not hurting anybody! So lay off me!

Hi! My name is negcamber...and I'm a VTEC addict. I started VTECing 5 years ago. Just every once in a while. But every time I did it...I wanted more. I now have a 5 VTEC a day habit...

5 VTEC a day...

You guys are making me feel bad... I VTEC every gear until cruising speed is reached. We're talking a good 50 VTEC's a day.

I could definetly do it (and I probably have before without even realizing), but VTEC is like therapy for me. You can bet I'd be one irritable bastard at the end of the week!

Mine is a daily driver and sadly I have gone weeks without VTECing it. I know , I know, that is like an S2000 sin.

your post didn't make sense.

you cannot be at 9K without vtec crossovering and at nine K in first gear the top speed is 42.8 that's still under speed limit in my city.

at second gear 9k, i'll be 65.6mph, which is still good for california highway

If you wanted good gas mileage, you should have bought a hybrid. If you wanted a sports car, then grow a set and DRIVE IT!
