Default Can you rotate the stock tires?

My salesperson mentioned rotating the tires on my S2k if i decided to buy it (which i did), but arent the rear tires 1/2 inch wider than the front and wouldnt that mean you cant rotate them? How many miles can I expect out of these tires? Does anyone have any reccommendations for winter wheels/ tires, in case i encounter ice?

Only if you plan to drive in reverse.

I was thinking the same thing and I think it is very well possible...

I don't know anything about tires but IMO since they are directional, you could take the tires off from the wheels and just switch the left and right ones....

I just took delivery of the car today. I havent had time to take a ride in the car, much less read the manual. All in due time, though.

You know, it's a funny thing but the tires rotate automatically as you drive down the road.

OH, and remember. NEVER put the spare tire on the rear.

front to rear = no
side to side = yes if you unmount them from the wheel, flip them, swap them from left to right, and remount them.

The tires are indeed reversible. The only catch is that you have to remove the tires from the rim and "flip" them around so that the rotational direction will be correct for being on the other side of the car.

Enjoy the ride...
