Can you Vtec too much?

I know it's not like a turbo, but can you excessively go into vtec. When I drive I probably do Vtec 1-3 times a day in first or second gear.

1-3 times per day? I'd consider that not enough. let's see.. on my drive to work I have 2 on- ramps, witch results in me vtecing from 2nd through 4th, traffic willing, so thats 6 times each way.. not counting downshifting to pass with authoritaaay nor any other driving i do..

So youve got plenty of room before your vtecing become excessive.

At least with Vtec, you don't have to wait awhile before you can do it again and again and again!
