Default Cant drive my s2000 :(

grrr starting to get to me now... got my s2k a week and a half ago and STILL havent drove it (properly anyway).... i turn 21 on the 14th and the insurance drop is so much i decided it was sensible to wait the 3 weeks to insure it. oh boy this has been a long wait so far and i still have nearly another 2 weeks!
its torture having it sitting outside in my drive, and having to walk by it every day to get in my girlfriends car

however, i just bought a front lip for it and some other bits and a whole array of cleaning products so hopefully have her looking beaut by the time i can drive it. this is nearly my 20th car and only another 2 have gave me the goosebumps this gives me (and ive owned some nice cars).

feel my pain!

D: It'll be fantastic once you get the chance to properly drive it.

yeh.. im still a student so did a lot of part exchanges to make some money and gradually work my way up the car ladder. It can be a real pain in the ass buying an selling cars but ive had the chance to own and experience a lot of nice cars and its made me a hell of a lot of money.

in the 4 months ive had:

EK9 Civic Type R
Pre-facelift EP3 Civic Type R
Mini John Cooper Works
Facelift EP3 Civic Type R
My new S2000

Bear in mind there was cash going in all directions between those though, and id definitely own all of them again. opportunities arise and i couldnt turn down some of the offers.

funny how people dont believe me when i say im "keeping" the S!

BS thread reeks of BS.

20 years old, 20 cars, and now you suddenly care about a decrease in insurance cost? Either that or you're terrible at purchasing car insurance.

I'd venture a guess that the EP3 R's and S's insurance premiums are pretty close, give or take 10% at most.

P.S. "Congrats" on the S

i can name every car mate so dont say im talking BS.

the type r was £1500 while im 20, the s2000 £2600 while im 20, then drops to £1600 when i hit 21.

trust me, i know how to get cheap car insurance (in the UK remember).
considering ill save more than £1000 if i wait 3 weeks, yes i care about decreasing costs smart arse.

I don't know how it works where you are at, but with my insurance, they would send me a refund if my premium ever got cheaper. For instance, I was 24 at the time and got insurance on my truck for $600. I turned 25 one month later and I got a check in the mail for $150. If you are anxious and can't wait, that could always be an option for you if your insurance allows?
