Default Can't lock/unlock with keyless

At HIN we had to disconnect our batteries. Could this be the reason why my keyless remote won't work? If so, how do I get it to work again?

Thanx,
Chris

Do you have some kind of aftermarket alarm system? If so, disrupting power may require some kind of reset for the alarm to recognize the keyless entry. I can't see that cutting the power on the stock car would cause a problem. Have you tried to use the key in the ignition (start the car)? Sometimes this helps to reset an alarm.

Did you check the battery in the remote, maybe its a coincidence that it went dead at that time... Other than that I think the manual tells you how to re-program the remote for your car.

I don't have an aftermarket alarm on my car (although I wish I did). And also when I push the button on the remote, the red light comes on (I was also thinking maybe the battery in the remote went dead until I saw the light come on). So I guess I'll have to read through the manual.

Thanx alot,
Chris

Somehow I don't think washing cars for a Honda dealer qualifies you to diagnose issues over the Internet ...

Regardless, since no one has provided any help:

Reprogramming instructions available here:
