Default In-Car Acceleration Video Mounting?

How do you guys mount your video camera when doing an in-car acceleration (without a passenger)? Please help

I'm trying to get a steady shot of the gauge cluster.

thanks

I use one made by MP Tuning, I think. Here's a thread w/ pics of the mount:

With a wide angle lens on my vid cam, I get the gauge cluster, steering wheel, and the entire front windshield. If the camera is angled properly, you can probably get the shifter in there, too.
