The Car is Back and boy did I miss it!
I posted a while back about a spin out. My car was in the shop having the rear bumper and trunk lid replaced where it hit a street post. Got the car back last night after a month of driving rentals and the feel getting in and the power felt great! Then I hit VTEC and even more power came about. What a great sound and feel and boy did it put a smile on my face. I will take it out for some driving this morning and check out the paint/etc in the light to make sure it is all fine. Unfortunately, I have to leave for Europe tonight on a biz trip so I will miss driving it! After getting it back it made me feel like regular cars and great sports cars are not interchangeable (they both don't feel like "cars"). Porsche's old tagline about "substitutes" is true from the standpoint of sportscars versus daily drivers.

I just got mine back Friday after 8 days in the shop for the tranny, clutch and seatbelts. The 2001 Civic they gave me to drive as nice, but it wasn't my Charlotte... I have to go back next week for a few tweaks, but it feels good to be back in the driver's seat!
