I have a big problem here. I want to drive my car to work, but I don't want to deal with the door dings, bird bombs, and sun baking the crap out of the paint, top, and interior. I am looking into getting a car cover seeing how that would solve alot of my problems, and I could get mb blonde baby out of the garage, however I called my local dealership and they informed me that the factory car cover is actually a dust cover, so I asked if it had reflective properties because I do not want my car to be faded by the sun, and when I go to get into my car, I would like it to be neutral temp, and not boiling hot under the car cover. They had no clue. Would anyone out there have a factory car cover, and could advise me on fit and finish as well as the ability to block some of thoues damn harmful sun rays? I would really appricate any recomendations

One of our sponsors, topnotchauto offers a line of custom covers for our car, you may want to check it out.

i'm keen to find out myself whether the NOAH cover can be folded to small enough size to fit in the corner of the trunk, can anyone answer that?

I have the NOAH cover and I roll it very tightly like a sleeping bag and it fits in the corner of the trunk for the most part.

The Noah cover seems to be the most mentioned when one wants a waterproof cover, and i've also seen Blue ribbon sheepskins mentioned as a good source- they have a website.

jsyellow, here is one link. https://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...?threadid=12745
the search is a bit tedious because so many topics come up, but I know there is lots more info out there if you take the time- topic is much discussed.

I have the Weathershield made by covercraft. I got it from topnotch auto, a sponsor and was so happy with it, I bought one for my audi. If you go to their site, they have a chart that is an excellent display of the different benefits of one cover to another. The Weathershield is extremely thin, so it will not prevent dents, but it fits nicely into the trunk...

Do a search on this topic and you should find plenty of recommendations, since this topic always comes up periodically...

I have the Honda cover, will probably get rid of it. It's really nice, but my new kit won't fit it.

I've got an UltraWeave from California Car Cover ( http://www.calcarcover.com ) and I've been very happy with it. folds up quite small, and definitely gets the job done when I have to park it outside in the BART lot.

Thanks for the info, I still would like to know how good the factory cover is in the sun(If you could'nt tell, I am worried about the sun more than anything). I am a factory kinda guy. I like everything to have a H emblem on it so if it goes bad, I can scream at my local dealership, however I have seen some of these covers that look like they do a awesome job, but any with the factory cover, please explain how good/bad it is. Also, I have a 91 Accord EX as a daily driver, but the weather is so nice right now, I hate to leave my yellow princess in the garage. Thanks again
