As stated above, the OEM cover is for indoor use.

I'd suggest Covercraft. Comes with grommets for a cable to secure the cover. IIRC the cable and lock are separate. As stated above, the cable and lock aren't theft proof but security is always about layering deterrents.

Good is always highly subjective no matter what the topic. Make sure you qualify what you specifically mean and don't just assume that your notion of good is universal.. What type of cover? What sort of protection do you need? What are your priorities? Sun? Rain? Tree sap? Snow? Something else? Do you need one that folds down into a smaller volume? What's your budget?

I needed one that folded up compactly but provided the best sun protection and rain resistance. Weathershield HP is what I selected and I'd highly recommend it if those are also your priorities and it fits your budget. If not, consider your situation and the material comparison.

It's not always convenient. It's not always practical. However, the majority of the time it really isn't that big of a deal for me and it definitely beats the alternative. YMMV.
