The car seems well taken care of..... the paint is just hideous though.

if it were black with that scheme it would be a lot better, but i really don't like it.

3 layers of clearcoat so you never have to wax
This is telling.

Meh I think it's a good sign. Doesn't mean he didn't wax, just means he knows what features will appeal to the general population of lazy people

I would love to have some extra coats of clear on my car so I could buff out the daily nicks that occur.

No, actually it isn't. Its in Arizona. Not sure how it ended up on the Portland Craig's list. Not a fan of PDX I take it?

Now that Portland comment was not nice...I'm there quite often and the people do have a unique perspective on mods though. Since the general public there does not mod cars like here in CA, the taste can be more unique. You should have seen some of the cars cruising campus back in Indiana........

I've seen a lot worse s2k's than this one. I think he was trying to do a 2-tone motif to match his interior and just went about it the wrong way. The custom paint with the stock rims always has me scratching my head ~ if you gonna spend time to paint the car, at least get some nice rims and drop the sucka!

This is an ideal car for a part-out since there are lotsa goodies there to salvage and just ditch the car stock.
