Default Car driving faster in cold weather

So I've noticed that when it's cold outside at night my s seems to pull much much harder, I daily drive my s and it still surprises me how much harder it pulls when it's cold. I don't have a CAI I have an aem short ram, is the cold air what's causing the huge performance gain? Is there anyway to make my car always run like that? That thing literally jerks your neck
Thanks or any input

Cool dense air= more power.
Any drag racer knows this. Sometime at the local drag track you see some of the cars have ice boxes on the intake.
As far as keeping it like that all of the time.....move to Canada......minus 18 today.

Cold air always makes more power. On an NA s2000 I don't think it is actually a whole lot but usually can feel the difference. On a boosted car it makes a huge difference. My s pulls much harder in colder weather. It also makes more boost in the colder weather.

I think your short ram getting heat soak. During the day. . Obviously at night in the temperatures drop . So it benefits by the cooler air

Would the actual filter size be a variable as well? I have 2 of the same filters one bigger and one smaller. Right now i have the smaller one on. If I were to put the bi one on would it be better since its bigger? Bigger filter more air?

Sounds like heatsoak. This happens with pretty much any short ram intake without any heat shielding. You should put the stock box back on and do the airbox mod.

Filter size is a negligible difference by comparison.
