Default Car got egged last night.

Dang, come out to my car after chilling @ a friends house to find that it's been egged. At first I thought it was a big bird dropping, but upon closer inspection, it was an egg. They got my hood and driver side back feder/bumper. I've been having such bad luck with my car recently. Dang. I washed it off this morning and the shell must have scratched my paint a little bit. Hopefully this all buffs off later tonight.

check your paint closely... eggs can stain the paint (actually the clear coat) if you got it off in time, you might be o.k. (i hope so!)
if you need any help with the scratches or stains, post up in the wash & wax forum and we will help you fix her up!

wash and wax forum, from what i hear, egg is a tough one to clean. the buildup of the egg can cause swirls in that area, i believe i read it does deteriorate the clear coat as wanabe said.

sorry man. bastards.

yeah, I left it there overnight. I sprayed it with some zaino. I didn't have any cloths on me and I live in an apt complex. It was late. I went home and crashed. Took care of it this morning when I got in to work. It looks ok. Don't see any staining or anything. Time to apply some zaino tonight.

- my truck got egged and I wake up late (noon) so it was already "cooked" on there (hot day in san diego) by the time I found out...
- I had some crazy ass swirl mark after that...
