[QUOTE=PilotKD,Jul 17 2006, 10:12 PM] You can buy a can of "Damp Rid", which is basically a little tub of moisture absorbant material that will draw out moisture in the car overnight.

That happened to me on the freeway last week! It was more of a sprinkle, but I had my cover on my soft top, so I couldn't put the top up right away!
I finally pulled over to a gas station, took off the cover, and put the top back up. I didn't have any problems. Most likely because I caught it quick!

this happened to me a few weeks ago. didn't get rained on for too long, but long enough. windows were fogged up everytime i returned to the car after leaving the windows up for an hour or more.
i used damprid, they had a hanging solution that was made for putting in your closet. i kept it in the car for about two weeks, hanging it from the rearview mirror each time i put the top up. i was amazed at how much water was sucked up by that thing.
i'd say this is one of the best things you can do after, of course, ensuring that the carpets are as dry as you can get them. costs maybe 6-7$ at home depot.

I'm sure this will work on car carpets just as well as it works on household carpets... one day I spilled milk on the carpet and I'm sure we all know how that smells after a few days. So what we did was... you mix water with vinegar, scrub out the area (in your case... all the carpets and mats) and then pass over it with a vacuum and let it dry... took the smell right. You wouldn't even know where it was cause there's no smell what so ever... not even vinegar smell.
